Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2025
1. The service
FixNook Panic Analyzer ("FixNook", "the service") is a cloud platform that analyzes Apple iPhone Panic Full logs uploaded by you and returns diagnostic guidance — parsed log data, rule-based matches, knowledge-base references, and an AI-generated analysis with a confidence score.
FixNook is a diagnostic assistance tool only. It does not, and will not, bypass activation lock or passcodes, unlock devices, circumvent carrier locks, or modify, disable, or defeat any Apple security mechanism. Any use of the service for such purposes is prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials and API keys confidential.
- You may upload only logs from devices you own or are authorized to service. Panic logs may contain device identifiers (such as serial numbers); you are responsible for having the device owner's consent to process them.
- You may not attempt to probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, scrape other users' data, or use the API in violation of its rate limits.
3. Nature of the analysis — no repair guarantee
Analyses are guidance for qualified repair technicians, not professional repair services and not a guarantee of outcome. A confidence score expresses the strength of log evidence, not certainty about a physical device. Before replacing any part, confirm the diagnosis using the recommended tests and your own professional judgment. FixNook is not liable for parts purchased, damage to devices, or lost revenue arising from repairs performed based on an analysis.
4. Subscriptions, credits, and refunds
- Plans are billed monthly in advance. The Free plan includes 10 analyses per month at no charge and requires no card.
- Each analysis consumes one unit of your monthly allowance. Failed analyses are refunded automatically.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the dashboard billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial-period refunds are issued except where required by law.
- Coupons may grant bonus credits or discounts as stated at redemption; they are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- If a payment fails, your subscription enters a grace period before being paused; analyses remain available on the Free tier.
5. Your data and our property
You retain all rights to the logs you upload. You grant FixNook a limited license to process them solely to provide and improve the service; improvement feedback is anonymized first. The platform, knowledge base, rule engine, and reports' design are the property of FixNook.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixNook's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes are announced in the dashboard before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
